One Goal Down, One More to Go!

SUCCESSSSSSSSSSS! I reached my $10,000 fundraising goal for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute! Can you believe it?!? That's a small car!!! I worked so hard - for such a long time. I didn't do it alone either. So many of you supported my 2009 run for the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge through contributions and motivational emails to sharing personal stories and cheering me on along the route. Much thanks goes to my roommate, Kay, as well. She put forth great efforts to organize FIVE fundraising events with me throughout the season AND she ran just about every run with me in training. Thank you Kay and all from the bottom of my heart for your generosity - I could not have done this without you!!!

Together, we have reached our fundraising goal. We must be confident that these 10,000 dollars will not only improve the quality of life for those battling and surviving cancer, but that at least one of these 10,000 dollars will be used to discover the cure that we have been longing, searching, praying and hoping for....
